A new article on carbon removal technologies, which I contributed with comments, has been published on Supertrends.

Start-up Stars Panel in Central Library


I attended a panel called `Start-up Stars` in Central Library. The panel is organized by the Business and Intellectual Property Center Liverpool City Region. I had a chance to listen to 3 successful entrepreneurs from Liverpool and learned from their experiences.

Big Ideas Event in LJMU

 I attended  BIG IDEAS event at LJMU  and had chance to listen ongoing interesting projects from research staff in the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies.

Fion Gunn: Collateral Lives Workshop

 

I attended Fion Gunn`s `Collateral Lives` workshop this week. During this workshop artist Fion Gunn presented present her film ‘Child of our Time’ Inspired by 'Child of our Time' a poem by Irish poet Eavan Boland, and displayed some mixed media artworks which address the experience of women at times of war and its aftermath – the collateral lives of collateral victims. 



Following the film presentation, there was an informative conversation with Dr Richard Benjamin, Visiting Professor of Slavery and Public Engagement at the University of Liverpool and Head of the International Slavery Museum, Liverpool.



"This workshop is the first in a series of events by Irish artist Fion Gunn as part of her year-long residency with the Institute of Irish Studies, University of Liverpool. The residency was launched on 31 of March 2022 and includes an exhibition of Fion's work at the University's Victoria Gallery & Museum from 30 July until 23 December 2022."

I bought my first audiobook related to futures studies; Lars Tvede's Supertrends. Looking forward to learn from it. I will write my reviews about book after finishing it.

I had chance to meet John in his courses at International Coaching Academy.  I learned a lot of new things to to use in my professional and personal life. Unfortunately we lost him in last year. I would like to thank him for his courses and supports.

A new group to join: Chess group in Liverpool

I am not a very fan of playing chess, but i started to play again and improving. There is a meet up group in Liverpool for chess players. I plan to sustain joining especially in this long winter  in Liverpool.
